As
a responsible business operator, SGHost.com strives to protect the
confidentiality, integrity and availability of all customer data
against errors, sabotage, fraud and breach of privacy.
We
also strive to maintain the integrity of our information systems in
order to ensure excellent service to our customers at all times.
All
our staffs, customers and suppliers who are users of the Company's
information systems are responsible and accountable for the security
of the information within their areas of responsibility.
Any
unauthorized use or modification to the Company's information
systems is a serious offence. We will take disciplinary or legal
action against anyone who users of modifies the Company's
information systems without authorization.
SGHost.com
accepts payment by major banks in Singapore, namely, POSB/DBS, UOB
and OCBC. Inter-bank funds transfer can be made via ATM machines or
Internet Banking. When you’ve made a payment, we will not have any
information about your account or any of your financial information.
We will only have details on your mode of payment, and the payee
name (your name that you’ve entered to identify that the transaction
is made by you if internet banking is used), and the amount paid.
For security measures made by the bank, please check with the
relavant bank for details.

Paypal
for all credit card payments.
Paypal automatically
encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer
to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an
encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially
available). Before you register or login to
Paypal’s
website to make payment, their server checks that you're using an
approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
Once your
information reaches them, it resides on a server that is heavily
guarded both physically and electronically. Paypal servers sit
behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the
Internet, so your private information is available only to
authorized computers.

Secure
Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption
Industry
standard security measures are used which is made available through
your browser called Secure Socket Layer (SSL). SSL protocol is used
to safeguard your sensitive personal information, including your
credit card number, during online transactions. Using this widely
accepted form of encryption, your transaction is secured from your
personal computer to the computer processing your request.
As users enter
the payment information, it is captured on a page that uses the SSL
protocol by default. All personal and financial information is
encrypted as it travels over the Internet. All financial
information for payment via
Paypal is
stored in encrypted form on
Paypal servers.
The server is also not accessible through the Internet. Credit card
security will continue to be an issue of top priority for our
company.
